Martin Bright and apprenticesParliament’s First Apprentice School

Created by The Creative Society and Robert Halfon MP, The Parliamentary Academy is the first apprentice school in the UK Parliament.

If you are between the ages 16-24 and would like to do an apprenticeship with an MP then this is the right place for you…

Since 2011 we have created a structured recruitment path enabling 16-24 year old non-graduates to access entry level jobs in Parliament.

We aim to broaden access to politics by giving young people a paid apprenticeship with an MP and a recognised qualification.

Our soon to launch traineeship scheme will increase accessibility even further by allowing passionate and dedicated young people to gain work experience in an MP’s office, while receiving on-the-job training and studying towards a professional qualification, to prepare them for an apprenticeship.
